EBC's new Balanced Brake Kits represent the ultimate upgrade in braking performance, offering significant reductions in stopping distances whether used on the road or on the track. Every kit is supplied with all the hardware you need to completely replace all equivalent components of your vehicle's OE front braking system, giving a firmer and more responsive brake pedal and allowing you to drive harder for longer without the onset of brake fade.
The DP4002SS front pads are a bespoke pad material designed specifically for EBC’s Balanced Brake Kits, giving high friction level with strong cold bite, yet also provide good wear properties and fade resistance when pushed hard on road or on track. Another world first from EBC is these pads use stainless steel backplates, reducing heat conduction through the plate and protecting the caliper and brake fluid from excessive brake temperatures when driven hard. Together with the castellation’s in the piston noses, these two technologies combine to prevent excessive heat soak into the caliper, leading to more consistent performance and serving to extend caliper service intervals by preventing premature seal damage
